Hi, I’m Nigel – your host for your Albany Tour.

Born and bred in England, I’m what’s called a ‘stop-over’ by the Manxies as I came to the Isle of Man nearly 30 years ago, and have lived here ever since. I love my adopted home and once you’ve experienced an Albany Tour, I’m sure you will too.

My background is in hospitality and catering: I re-opened the Ramsey Beach Hotel in the 1980s, ran Ramsey’s Grand Island Hotel for 10 years and have worked with a number of famous chefs. And I’m proud to have been a friend of the late Sir Norman Wisdom who made his home here. I’m also a film and TV ‘star’ having appeared in many of the films made here on the Island, most recently as the Butler in the TLC show, ‘Suddenly Royal’. And don’t tell anyone, but I kissed Catherine Zeta Jones before that cad Michael Douglas stole her heart.
